Have a low usage 39A nearly mint except for the fact it has started misfiring. Some times it will fire several shots OK but for the most part misfires are more often than not. Looking at the bases of the unfired rounds shows no sign of the firing pin striking.The Model 39 is designed to not hurt it's self when dry fired. However, we are talking about beating on those parts with a hammer. Literally. My worry is that some day, some how, the firing pin stop will wear enough to allow contact with the chamber.
