Mar 25, 2022 · 2012 2-dr JK - I actually just had my thermostat changed and that's when I started having trouble with the fan always running on High. On Start, it is fine. Blend door actuator for sure for the no-heat-in-the-cabin deal, but the engine overheating seems far out for that. maybe a clogged heater core (might impede flow) Im dealing with no heat in cabin right now, except on the highest setting. Try leaving the AC on it will turn the engine fan on Low and keep coolant temps down. In older vehicles that had questionable cooling fans, you could just drive 50-60 and the airflow through radiator was enough to keep your engine happy. Not so in the JK.
