Mar 3, 2022 · Hi everyone. I have a harman P61A-2 stove. The other day room filled with smoke and and smelled plastic smell burning. We unplugged and restarted it after cleaning and inspecting. Now it runs constantly. Power ,status lights on. No blinking. Also distribution light and blower stay on as is the combustion blower and light.these don’t go off. Then I'd check the resistance of the igniter which should be about 40 ohms and replace it if it's reading an open or short. The Problem. Possible Cause. Possible Solution. Poor burn quality. Time for a cleaning, so let the hopper run out of pellets, fire died out, firebox cooled, distribution blower stopped due to lack of heat, combustion blower still blowing, then turned stove off.
