You have to pay them money to be a member, and the only notable perk (in my opinion) is that you get access to more scholarships, however why would you pay for access to scholarships when you could apply for scholarships that don't require you to pay anything?

Pros. The work life balance at NSCS is amazing. The executive team is very understanding that there is life outside of work. In the office, the environment is generally calm and business-like. It is a pretty quiet office because the people who work here work pretty hard while in the office.

That being said, it is basically nothing. It will do nothing tangible to help you. You have some scholarship access, but it's my understanding that it isn't significant. It is not prestigious by any means. You do have a responsibility, and that's 75 dollars a year. Is that really something you want to pay for mediocre scholarship access?
