When I received the tractor it was a box project meaning the previous owner started repairs did not finish them and brought all remaining parts to me in boxes. the steering box had frozen with water in it, they had it welded new shaft and bearings and seals but not assembled or installed. …
Moderator. Well we finally got the B7800 running. Short story, rat eating insulation, rat builds nest on top of wires, nest packs bare wires down and shorts out relay, stop solenoid, and controller. Replaced all and still cranks but will not fire, yet all switches and lights work and still no click from stop solenoid.Parked the tractor, and this morning it refuses to start. It turns, just wont start. Took the filter out out of the water separator, cleaned the filter and cup, bled the system, and topped the tank off with fresh fuel. Checked all fuses for continuity. Checked safety switch under seat. If this does not work, replace it with a new Kubota fuel cap. 4. Kubota Mower has a Bad Spark Plug or Loose Connection . A dirty spark plug is used on a gas-powered Kubota mower. A fouled spark plug can cause your Kubota mower to not start. Remove your spark plug using a 3/4” or 5/8” socket depending on the model engine in your Kubota mower. This is most likely the problem. Need to check the O-ring on the filter, bleed the pump, then bleed each injector. 4. If all else fails and it simply won't start again, you will need to do a compression check on it. On a diesel, low compression is the #1 reason for hard starts (besides bad glow plugs). 4.The interlocks or handles for the PTO need to get wiggled to make a clean connection. With my tractor the voltage drop going thru all the safety interlocks and wiring, then finally to the starter often resulted in drop of several volts. As a test remove the #7 key stop solenoid relay and see if the fuse blowing stops. Measuring with an ohmmeter from the sensor tab on the sensor to the sensor ground: Empty tank resistance: 103-117 ohms. A bad connection will show as an empty tank due to high resistance.
