I was using that whip with hoarfrost stomp and it was pretty solid for me. The bleed is nice. It did alright damage too. It's a good early to mid game pvp weapon with cold affinity. Cold affinity has poor scaling though, and Thorned whip has better scaling/ lower base damage.

I just did my seventh playthrough, the first time as dex/arcane, and Eleonora's pole blade was a joy. The weapon art was a lot of fun, staggered, got bleed all the time. Considered a second poleblade but just thought it was less elegant than two handing. Added on bloodflame and dragon incantations and had a great time.

Personally, I think that Rivers of Blood is better in terms of damage and versatility. Eleonora's poleblade is a little bit faster, but it doesn't do as much damage and doesn't have as many abilities as Rivers of Blood.
