To be fair, the Mint Mace is a pretty powerful weapon, one of the most powerful in the game, so it makes sense for it to be a bit harder to acquire (I imagine most tier 3 weapons will probably get "locked" behind Burg.L recipes, or otherwise made harder to acquire, like the Club of the Mother Demon and Salt Morning Star.

Its among the best still yea. There’s a litany of tier 3 weapons and besides the pure elemental ones like the mint mace, all can be enhanced with an element. Use what you like and what’s best for what you’re hunting. Should have been more clear: all of the tier 3 weapons are viable so use what’s most fun. Best fresh 2 hander.
