Chevy colorado ground splice pack.
I have a 2008 Chevy Colorado that’s having ac blower issues due to a poorly designed “ground splice pack”. I’ve removed and cleaned the ground pack multiple times but it always ends up getting corrosion and stops working. Can I remove the “splice pack” and bolt the wires directly to my fender with a ring terminal?

If this is your only issue you can find the needed parts here. If the blower does not work on any speed the issue has always been a bad ground at splice pack located behind the engine air filter assembly.Resistance should be close to 60 ohms at the module (measured with the battery disconnected). The resistance at terminating modules should be close to 120 ohms. Examples of terminating modules include IPDM, ECM, or BCM. Reference the appropriate ESM to determine the terminating modules.
