On another forum, I saw photos of another 7.62x39 Saiga with 20 barrel and a wood stock. Thumbnails are below: The stock and forend are Saiga factory parts, according to the owner.

Saiga IZH-108 with quad rail, red dot sight and loaded 12 rnd drum= 13.27lbs. Short barrel and no accessories would be the lightest. Jun 2, 2020 · I'm trying to source the best furniture to make an SVD clone. Rhineland may have something that will be a direct fit and is checking for me. Ironwood has Vepr sets that I can apparently get to fit but that's not something I know if I have the skill for. As of now it's a 16" unmolested, plans are to 20" rebarell into a 6.5 Creedmore. This issue has only occurred on the wood furniture Saiga-M models. There is a screw in the buttstock that can be tightened and this will fix the 'wobble' issue. ... Thanks in advance- ugkbunb I am leaning towards the Grip N Stocks, I imagine after buying clear/poly coat, wax coat, stain, oil, 150, 180, 240 grit sandpaper (possible even wet sand paper) that the prices will just about equal out.
The only synthetic US made furniture for a Saiga is a minor modification of a Tapco Galil handguard. Wood, on the other hand, is more favorable to small and custom production. I offer a line of wooden furniture for stock and converted Saigas. A set for a Saiga 223 would start at $130.

Up for sale is a custom set of Saiga 12 wood furniture. This is a Izmash factory 308 wood stock set that has been modified to fit a Saiga 12 shotgun. All pieces are made from hardwood with a great color and shine to it, in perfect condition.
