There are 4 ways to build "Paladin" in PF2e, at least in my opinion: Classic, take Champion, pick Paladin cause. Party tank. Fake Champion. Fighter with Champion Dedication (Paladin cause) for getting only best stuff from Champion: Ranged Reprisal, Retributive Strike and maybe Lay on Hands. 2 handed reach weapon.Way of the pistolero gunslinger. Dueling pistol (or 1 handed pistol of your choice) and a long air repeater. Use the air repeater for covering fire, fake out etc. Make sure you're trained in performance and take the Pistol Phenom archetype if you have free archetype.
