Tried disconnecting the battery, the whole drive straight thing, brake pads, rotors, fluid has all been done recently. Starter, battery, alternator all tested good, starts and runs just fine as if the lights weren’t on. Tran fluid is good, 4WD works.

Car felt odd; traction was horrible despite the roads being all right, taking foot off the break did not have it go around 5 mph like usual. This will indeed cause the stalling issue you are seeing. The P0420 code means there is an issuie with the catalytic converter on bank 1.
