When fired, the primer ALMOST was enough to dislodge the bullet from the case, but not quite, so the round was too long to properly eject from the chamber. Not Kimber's fault, on any of the above. I've owned the Pro Carry only a short time, and have yet to have a misfire.

I have one and I also have a Pro series and without the bobtail on the Pro it gets hung up all the time on my sweatshirt when I get in and out of the car. Thowe. I own a Kimber Pro Carry II 9mm Stainless steel and would never consider buying any other brand to replace this gun. Never had a problem with this pistol, very accurate and to me a excellent carry gun. For the price I paid for Kimber quality, a Wilson or Bare would be much more to buy. IMOP.

With about 400 rounds through the Operator, I have had 2 FTF issues in the first 100 rounds, none since. The Operator has much better sights, and to me has less felt recoil than the Kimber. The round wire spring that Kimber sells is is good for about 800 rounds. Resale on the CDP's is fast. Frontstrap checkering is nice, but on the alloy frame, it is sensitive to large rings. Pro TLE II seems better choice if two tone and service melt and ambi is not required. With TLE you still have night sights, and front strap checkering. Pro Carry II is a Base model.
