I think it will also disable the ABS, too... Once you figure out what is causing the brake light to go on, both light should stay off.

The traction control light and the abs light will come on as well as the D light will flash all at the same time. Any idea as to what would cause this?

This does mean that the car is indicating that the brake fluid is low. However, this indication was caused, in my car, because the brake pads were so worn down, that more brake fluid was being pulled from the resevoir than normal. Once I got new brake pads, (and did not add any more brake fluid) the light went away. -Brad.
