Purchased the complete BCG weeks before, and then pulled the trigger on the upper, also bought the PKMR mid-length rail. Arrived assembled, with the rail, and a bunch of other, bonuses in the box.

The mk2 is bravos own and stronger upper. It's stronger but only in ways that make no practical difference. A milspec upper receiver will go hundreds of thousands of rounds before the cam path wears out. One of the benefits BCM claims for the MK2 is enhanced rigidity leading to fewer bolt lug failures due to misalignment with the barrel extension.
