To get to the fuse box look to the left of the steering wheel look for a small seam or crack along the dash. Using a screwdriver or prybar You will want to pop this open. On the inside, You will find a bunch of fuses.

Well typically its related to that dash sensor not working correctly...im not a fan of throwing $ at something without diagnosis.... To check for a short in your system, just unhook your positive post on your battery, hook a test light to the cable and the other end to the battery positive post. If it lights up you have a short. Well if the high beams work in manual and the flash position of the multifunction the the bulbs must be working. First thing I would check is relay not sure if a different relay is used in auto. If the multi function works in manual then to me that would rule out the multifunction.
If there is a remote package on the system, it will display “Install Now” Or “Start Download.”. If the screen below is shown, then there is no remote update package on the system. If you connected some player to your radio via aux-in, there's basically nothing in the radio to cause the "jump", it'll be something happening in the external player. If I hit the top of the dash above the radio it would come back on. On the 03-07 trucks it is harder to do than the 99-02 but is possible. There are guys willing to fix it but I think they charge pretty hard. The bulbs could be out and this is the only fix for that.
