Dodge charger remote start disabled.
Yesterday my car suddenly decided not to remote start anymore. Press the FOB button twice (the horn beeps back at me on each press) and then it beeps back at me twice, lights flash, and it doesn't start. I have a MOPAR remote start with the seperate FOB. It was installed by the dealer. Its been working fine for 3 months now.
I just got the 2 way Mopar remote start installed at the dealer this past weekend. I got the starter from another Dodge dealer on the Internet. The local dealer where I got it installed charged $150. I asked the tech to not install the feed to the horn. If this is so you will throw a CEL and most likely the car will be in limp mode which means no remote start.
