Also, the passenger sliding door door lock actuator was not working. So I replaced that also. In total - fixed both sliding doors for about $120 in parts and 4-5 hrs of labor (most of that was learning on my end). But a reset should have taken care of that. You can try turning off the power sliding door switch at the driver seat, then opening the door manually all the way. Then turn it back on and try to close it using the button. If that doesn't work, close it by hand and try to open it with the button again. It might work.

By using both power switch or manual mode, the door closes but 2 second later, it pops out of its rear latch, causing the door indicator to light up. When put in drive or reverse, you hear a beeping sound.

I removed the driver's door latch assembly (the white part with metal arms) along with the lock actuator (the black part) from a 2006 Odyssey (touring I believe), to transfer to my 2009 Odyssey EX. The 2006 latch assembly fit normally in my 2009 Odyssey.
