Looking at the 2022 feature availability sheet (link in the Stellantis 2022 Pacifica press release), I noticed the bluray/DVD player in the UConnect Theater Family Group is flagged as not available for hybrids for the Touring L and Limited. Seems like only the Pinnacle gets it among the hybrids.At the next rest area I pulled fuse F76, waited a couple of minutes, then reinstalled F76. Fixed. That was on our '21 Pacifica. Years ago the navigation was acting up on our '18 Pacifica. Dealer had to replace the radio unit. The pull-and-replace-F76 trick didn't work on that one.Apple CarPlay isn’t the problem, Chrysler’s shitty hardware and the uconnect software are. Shit freezes and breaks in a variety of ways. Frankly, CarPlay is the best thing about my Pacifica and uconnect is the worst. Best solution is to pull fuses or park it overnight and hope it sorts itself out. 3.

The overhead DVD player is a standalone device that can't be controlled by the front screen. The overhead DVD player changed to Bluetooth headphones in 2019 or 2020 (not sure which), but a 2018 would definitely still use IR headphones if the overhead DVD player was installed at the factory. You'd need to check the window sticker to confirm this.

Here are a list of tips on this finicky system. I have tested virous USBs, from 32Gb up to 256Gb, and type 2.0/3.0/3.1, as long as the format is FAT32, they should all play without any issue.

The USB port will intermittently loose power and in that case, nothing works. Pulling Fuse 76 will reset the entire UConnect system, but that seems to be an overkill. Pulling Fuse 28 (labelled USB-IP, Instrument Panel) reliably resets the USB port and restores 5V power to the port and everything works as expected.Go to Vehicles -> Settings.
