Bridge mode on xfinity router.

Previously, I had my Xfinity modem in bridge mode, and all was good. My router had my WAN IP address and the VPN worked great. Recently, I needed to use install a wireless cable box (Xi6) to a TV mounted outside in which running a coaxial cable to was not an option. I have the XB3 modem & router combo. For simplicity, I wanted to continue using my previous router (tp-link AC1750). To that end, I've enabled "bridge mode" on the XB3 modem/router and ran an ethernet cable from port 1 to the WAN port of the AC1750.
